The Campaign

Our conversation initially started with “Hey, we should put that painting on a billboard.” Since then this project may have morphed into something more meaningful...wish I could tell you we were smart enough to have planned that. What you see here represents a collaboration by three of Detroit's sons; a marketing guy, an artist and a genius who (usually) uses his powers for good. The circumstances of our coming together speak to the types of bridges that MUST be built and crossed if Detroit is going to grow. If the three of us can come together and (with your help) take over a billboard, we can show people that its possible. Just think what other ideas could be broadcast in this city once the path is shown? Once the billboard is up, ImagineDetroitTogether.org will serve as a monument to our collective effort, acknowledging each contributor and explaining how we succeeded. Furthermore, we will layout the blueprint for how other Detroiter's can come together and broadcast their ideas. Art has always spoken the voice of the people...with your help we can share the message of Detroiters working together with the entire city.
